Bloomsbury is a hub of culture and education, with the British Museum and the British Library just a few minutes walking distance from SOAS.  In addition, London is home to world-renowned international art galleries, musical performances, opera, museums and festivals, which all go to make London the culture capital of the world.

SOAS is located close to Russell Square Station on the Piccadilly Line and Goodge Street Station on the Northern Line. Nearby, Euston Station provides mainline rail links, and it is only a ten-minute walk to the Eurostar hub at St Pancras, from where it is a short hop to Paris, Brussels and continental Europe.

There are a multitude of clubs, restaurants and bars within a short walk of the SOAS campus.  We are also close to the West End with its cinemas and theatres, and Covent Garden, famous for its café society, shops and lively street entertainment.
